The Gladius is a medium Fighter without cargo space. Its speed, armor and shields are a compromise between the fast but fragile Stiletto and the tanky but sluggish Broadsword. This seems to appeal to Militia pilots, who can be seen flying this ship occasionally, apart from the usual Confed.
